Unit Coordinator for Industrial Engineering of Texas Tech University.   Duties include using Hiring Manager to hire staff and faculty, retrieve and insert pictures of new faculty into office picture frame, complete HB1 status paperwork on foreign national faculty; for prospective faculty--setup up requisitions in hiring manager, advertise faculty openings in two magazines and six online websites, arrange telephone and face to face interviews, create agenda with appointments with IE professors and COE Dean, arrange travel, hotel and meals using TA/TV, purchase orders and Pcard, setup class to teach, create seminar flyer and mail out to COE faculty and staff, create startup budget, offer letter and EPAF; hire GPTIs, TAs, RAs, GAs, SAs; monitor budgets for department, professors and scholarships; purchase for department and professors using TechBuy and Pcard, reconcile Pcard; pay for travel for guests of professors using TechBuy; organize Fall and Spring IAB meetings and Spring IE meeting, create financial report, PowerPoint presentations and agenda for those meetings; mail out voting ballets to IE roster for new IE inductees; organize IE banquet using Top Iier Catering and Merket Alumni Center, mail letters to IE roster with banquet, lodging and parking information, create PowerPoint presentations of new IE inductees, purchase plagues for IE inductees and plague for office; determine scholarship eligibility for incoming undergraduates, current undergraduates, current graduates and incoming graduate students, work with Scholarship Committee, award and apply scholarships; setup faculty meetings and take minutes; request IE website changes; submit summer EPAFs, complete Budget Prep; assist Chair in his job duties.

Grant administrator for the (MS)2 grant and the Proyecto EL SMED grant for the College of Education at Texas Tech University.  Duties include hiring RAs and SAs; monitor grant and two departmental budgets; purchase using TechBuy and Pcard, reconcile Pcard; arrange travel and hotel for members of grant to conferences and guest speakers to Projecto Conference using TA/TV and purchase orders; organize annual Proyecto conference, hire Top Tier Catering, send emails to principals and superintendents to recruit participants, purchase supplies for conference, create participant folders, receive conference registration payments, submit deposits, move money to conference FOP to pay Top Tier Catering; enroll students of each cohort in courses and apply scholarships; create cohort recruiting material; assist cohort students, RAs and GAs.

Training Specialist II for Quality Service and Professional Development with Texas Tech University.  Taught classes in the internal accounting and human resources systems, the internal travel website and the passenger van training for staff from Texas Tech University and Health Sciences Center.  Traveled to El Paso and Junction to train staff.  Used ITV to train staff in Odessa; Business Assistant for Quality Service and Professional Development with Texas Tech University.  Enrolled staff from Texas Tech University and Health Sciences Center in accounting, human resource, travel, passenger van training and quality service classes.  Set up class for instructors.
